CIEC welcomed a new member

The Clinical and Epidemiological Investigation Center (CIEC) welcomed a new member: VICTORIA LORENTZ who joined the team on November 2nd 2018 as a clinical research nurse.

Victoria studied nursing in Brussels and graduated in 2010, after two years in an orthopaedic and plastic surgery department she joined the Pfizer Clinical Research Unit in Brussels as a research nurse where she is responsible for the data collection with volunteers and patients included in phase 1 studies. Later, still on behalf of this same research unit, she became Resource and Planning Coordinator and was in charge of planning the organization of data and sample collection carried out by research nurses, as well as planning future studies and anticipating staff needs according to the different protocols. After 5 years of service with Pfizer, she decided to move to France in her native region to follow her partner and wishing to continue her career in the field of clinical research she had the opportunity to join the CIEC.

In her spare time, she enjoys being in the wild and doing beautiful walks but also kayaking and watching movies.

Investigators and study staff who wish to be part of a unique network, in order to stay abreast of clinical trials taking place in Luxembourg and who are willing to further develop their competencies.
