The Clinical and Epidemiological Investigation Center (CIEC) welcomed a new member: LUCILE PERNOT, who joined the team on June 15th 2016 as a Junior Clinical Research Associate.
Lucile studied biophysics at the University of Paris-Sud (France) where she obtained a PhD Degree in Structural Biology. Subsequently, she worked as a research associate in the field of drug design in various academic institutions where she enjoyed working in interdisciplinary teams.
Lucile spent 8 years in Switzerland and held for 4 years an Assistant Lecturer position in the department of Pharmaceutical Biochemistry at the School of Pharmacy of Geneva and Lausanne.
Two years ago, she decided to turn to the field of clinical research and she previously did a work experience of 4 months as a clinical research trainee at the CIEC.
She settled in Luxembourg with her family. During her spare-time, she likes hiking, bicycling and swimming.
