The Clinical and Epidemiological Investigation Center (CIEC) welcomed Gessica CONTESOTTO, who joined the team in September 2021 as a clinical research nurse.
Gessica obtained her nursing degree in 2007 in Italy, where she also worked for seven years in the Traumatology Division of a public hospital. In addition, she frequently performed supervision and coordination activities, and she obtained her master degree in nursing coordination in Turin in 2012. After this first part of her career, Gessica moved with the family to New York City, where she did volunteering activities in a nursing home, and then moved again to Paris in 2015, where she worked for more than two years in the field of telemedicine.
She has been living in Luxembourg since 2018, where she worked at first as a nurse in a testing laboratory and then, being interested in clinical research activities, she had the opportunity to join the CIEC.
Mother of three, she enjoys cycling, mountaineering and spending time with the family.
