OVERSIGHT OF CLINICAL INVESTIGATIONS: REQUIREMENTS AND PRACTICES

A Risk- Based Approach to Monitoring, or finding the right balance between improved quality of clinical trial data and acceptable verification activities.

One of the main objectives of the Clinical and Epidemiological Investigation Center in Luxembourg (CIEC) is to promote clinical research activities according to international standards of good clinical practice.
This year again, the CIEC has partnered up with CHL in order to organize a half-day interactive and certified training in “Good Clinical Practice” focusing on risk-based monitoring in clinical research.

The monitoring is an important activity that ensures the quality of the collected data. The  principal investigator is the main responsible of these data. This course will teach you a new monitoring approach.
Unlike standard monitoring which aims to verify 100% of data, risk-based monitoring (RBM) intends to reduce and optimize monitoring activities.

After successful completion of a test at the end of the training, the participants will obtain a certificate that will document their knowledge of GCP.

As the number of seats is limited, we will accept registrations on a first come first served basis.

Save the date now: 10th June 2015 from 13h30 – 17h30.

The agenda will be sent to you very soon and be available on our website www.luxclin.lu.
