CIEC welcomed a new member

The Clinical and Epidemiological Investigation Center (CIEC) welcomed a new member: LAMIA SKHIRI, who joined the team on January 15th 2015 as a Junior Clinical Research Associate.

Lamia has a Post-graduate degree (DEA) in Biology and Health, obtained at University of Monastir, Tunisia. She then moved to Paris when she received a grant to collaborate in a research project at University of Paris 13 and has obtained a PhD Degree in Medical and Biological Engineering.

Previously, Lamia held a research associate's position (post-doc) in immunology field at the INSERM laboratory, Faculté de Médecine Necker, Paris, for three years. She has skills in several areas of biomedical Sciences, including cancer and immunology.

After this experience Lamia decided to start working in the field of clinical research, first as Clinical Research associate trainee at CIEC for the last quarter of 2014, followed by a position as Junior Clinical Research associate. Besides dancing, Lamia loves reading and cooking.

Investigators and study staff who wish to be part of a unique network, in order to stay abreast of clinical trials taking place in Luxembourg and who are willing to further develop their competencies.
